87 IROC throttle cable options?
So it seems my throttle cable might be one of the current issues with this IROC I picked up. Motor does have the TPiS stealth ram intake and a 52mm BBK throttle body. The throttle body moves freely by hand, but in the car, initial throttle tip in is very stiff. In fact it makes it practically impossible to heel-toe downshift the thing the pedal is so stiff. (car has a T56 swap, yeah yeah!)
I'm having trouble finding a cable for this thing though. Looks like NAPA might offer one new, but they want to charge me shipping to their retail location, which I think is asinine. Advance Auto/Autozone/OReillys don't seem to offer one new. Hawks offers a used cable at $35, which maybe isn't a bad option??? Summit Racing claims Lokar sells a cable for TPI cars, it is at $60 and appears to be fancy for a throttle cable, p/n XTC-1000TP36. The part number at NAPA is BK 6101526, and might not be too bad if it actually is the right part, as with tax and shipping it would be around $41.
Does anyone know if that part number from Lokar is a direct replacement or is there some finagling that needs to be done? How about the NAPA part? Any experiences or other options? I appreciate it!
A picture, just because I like posting the rough thing for some reason haha
