L31 cam swap

L31 cam swap I am doing a cam swap and upgrading a 1998 C1500 Silverado with a factory L31... It is a one owner, low miles and very well maintained by my father in law... I'm still up in the air about the exact cam but for sure it is going to be 270 to 280 or higher (adv dur) with lift not exceeding .525... I am changing valve springs to LS6 or Beehive and retainers, new headers and exhaust as well as stall converter if needed... The gears are already 3.73... What are some good cam recommendations that yall have done? What all other must haves or must dos can yall recommend? I might have a few extra $$ to make fuel modifications too... THANK YALL... and I appreciate ALL the recommendations...

It's an older grind, but I'm really happy with the Crane 2032 cam in the Vortec motor I have in the El Camino. I don't have the spider injection system, though, but rather a dual plane intake and a FiTech throttle body.

Do you plan to tune for the upgrades? The 2nd post has a self tuning setup.
Just because valve springs can open XXX doesn't always mean they can handle the lift at high rpm, a sbc valvetrain is heavy compared to LS
Also 3.73 with a tall truck tire isn't the same as on a car with a shorter tire and a truck is obviously heavier, basically it's easier to overcam a truck.
