is it worth it or is it crap?

Its not as good as a 4340 but it is better than an iron, I would compare the price difference to a 4340 crank and then decide.

i have compared and it seems almost to good to be true for my application. great prices and all i just wanted some info and all on it before i decided, ya know?

some ebay sellers claim its good to 800 crank HP and 4340 is overkill for 90% of the applications its used in

I would think that 800 hp is abit much for a 5140, but I do agree a 4340 crank is overkill for almost all applications. You dont even need a forged crank at all unless you are really building something, a cast crank will hold 500 hp easy. I know from experience.

well heres my thinking, if i get somethin thats a good median id still have room in the future to lets say... doa turbo setup or s/c setup.
