I am building up a 496 Alky injected 'street' car. It's going to go into my '71 El Camino. CR should be somewhere around 15.25, with a redline around 72-7400 RPM. I need to find headers for this car and would prefer off the shelf parts. Also, does anybody have a pyrometer or EGT guage for sale?

My buddy has a Greddy EGT gauge that he took out of his turbo Z28, I think he wants $125 for it.

It looks like I will be making my own headers for this car, as we have decided to go with a large single turbo. Now to get that figured out...

Check with Stainless Works for the parts to build your turbo headers. I use the 304 stainless stuff all the time, just remember to take the wall thickness of stainless tubing into account when you are figuring primary tube diameter. they even have the the merge collectors and turbo flanges.
