502 in an F-Body
Has anybody put a 502 CI or bigger engine in an F-body? Would a 502 fit in an F-body? If it does what do you have to do to make it work?

I have seen a 540 but can't seem to find the link. I would think that if you already have a v6 shell or something like that I would just build up a Grand national style motor and make 600 hp out of a v6.

I've seen in in a early 4th gen. He had to cut the cowl some to fit the carb. I believe it was an orange Z-28 with a cowl hood. I'd like to do it to a V6 car, insurance on a 6 banger would be cheap. Besides, you'll have to swap all the suspension anyway.

I don't know if I have any pictures, but Jon Moss (GM) built a 95 Camaro with a fuel injected 502 under a fairly stock hood. I believe it was styled like the SS hood, but had a good size hump in the center. I can't remember any of the specifics, but I remember that the intake was a custom built unit with a seperate plenum for each bank of cylinders. Kind of looked like two LT1 intakes under the hood.

There are a couple third gen's here with some big motors in them. The silver camaro has a 545 CI BB, as Im sure a lot of you have seen. And the red firebird has a 632 BBC . Im sure they get pretty good gas milage too...

I saw all those links and now i know it is atleast possible. My new question now is would there be any clearance issues if i did a 502 with fuel injection. My car is a 2001 WS6, so i should already have a good amount of clearance in there on the top atleast, because of the ram air hood.
