Default procharger

hey...im debating on whether i want to go forced induction or nitrous on my sbc project for my 94..i was wondering if any of you have sucessfully put a centrifical charger such as a procharger or a vortech style along with a carb or aftermarket efi such as the accel dfi setup on their fourth gen? ive got a 94 and i was wanting to probably go with an accel dfi setup or maybee a dominator carb setup with a supercharger..Problem is i have saw many cars with the sbc setup and all of them have their cowls clearanced for just the carb itself..i know they are using a high rise single plane intake in this case but would it be possible to put a slightly lower intake on it along with the carb or dfi and still have room enough for the charger intake...this is what i was looking at somehting like this right here..... i also have considered going with the holley stealth ram setup with the nitrous, but didnt know how much work it would be to plumb the intake for direct port...

any of you guys think a holley stealth ram would fit? in the back of my mind..there is a little devil as well that as been tempting to build a HIGH compression race gas NA motor as well...no bottle filling...no probs with hood clearance with top mount stuff (carb, accel dfi tb w/supercharger) if the unit would fit ...hmmmmm

^^^ why not build a forced induction motor to run on pump gas and make the same if not more power then the n/a motor? no need for high $$ race gas and still be able to ride anywhere you want?

i have the holley commander 950 system with the regular intake, not the stealth ram,but with that system you would have much more clearance, especially with a hat on top for the supercharger.

i had a hard time tuning it because of a big cam but very tuneable. i believe the brain is the same as the stealth ram, just the intakes are different.you can set anything you want=wot timing at any rpm, part throttle, cooling fans on/0ff at certain temps, set idle rpm, pretty much anything.i'm using a carburetor right now because of my bigger cam=259/267* @ .050 ground 106/102 so tuning would be a bear.good luck.

i run a carb set up with an f2 procharger on a sb 355, makes over 1000 hp and 24psi of boost. the tuning is pretty simple. i use a carb shop blow through 950. and i drive on the street with no problems. you try to make that kind of power going n/a say goodbye to driving on the street

haha i would love to but there is really no room for one unless you cut the windshield..hell there isnt barely enough room for the carb alone..haha i ve changed direction anyways...im keeping my ls1 i thought about it and decided i couldnt part with it..if i ever build a drag car..it will be a third gen...hands down
