How many rpms do you guys think is safe on my 383

TEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE... Lets just say the manifold is supposed to be similar to the ramjet in the way it flows and the power it can support. Not to mention im going to be running 30# SVO injectors and the increase in fuel pressure from the 43.5 makes these injectors closer to 35#. There will be no power killing with this manifold , Hopefully the manifold and setup will be up and running a week from this sunday. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Ill give you a hint on what manifold it is, there is a post on it on another board. Ill put a link up to it soon, but for now i will just hold whoever doesn't know about it in suspense

A 383 with a C306 won't need to be spun past 6500 even with ported heads. That cam just isn't big enough for a stroker to keep making power past there. Assuming your bottom end has ARP bolts with Clevite bearings and was well balanced, it'll hold to at least 7500 on a road course, 8000 drag racing.

6800 here, probably go higher, but ive never turned it past 6800, never needed too..
