Curious About a Price... I'm not so sure how much something like this is worth. I'm sure it's not worth a whole lot but it's gotta be worth something. It's a 305 V8 motor/tranny out of a swb 84 GMC fullsize truck with overdrive. It still runs very well and is still in the truck. How much could I ask for it if I decided to sell it?

Most people are not really interested in the 305 so that drives down the price a little. However, there are still quite a few people searching for an A4 since gas doesn't seem to be going down any time soon. I believe that your selling price vary depending on who your selling it to and there needs.
For example my friend is looking for a 700R4 and can't seem to find one. I bet he would buy the tranny for $200-$300 which is more than what it is worth.

Depends, if its real posi then its prob worth 500 bucks or so. But if the spider gears are welded together and its and open rear then probably half of that. Also depends on gear and carrier size.
