Default pushrod length

I need a new set of pushrods for my 350. Most places Ive looked offer stock length and .100 longer than stock. What is the effect of .100 longer pushrods? Do they give more lift? Someone help me out.

The longer pushrod changes the valvetrain geometry. You want to make sure the roller tip of the rocker is riding on the center of the valve not on the side.

You will not change lift with longer pushrods. If you are running a fairly stock cam you will not need the longer pushrods.

the .100 longer pushrods are to keep the valvetrain geometry close to stock with a small base circle cam....are you using a stock cam or aftermarket camshaft? if it's not a factory piece your best bet is to contact the manufacturer.
