385 cube LT1, AFR 195 CNC heads, Combination Motorsports 228/234'ish cam, 11.8:1 compression, 6 speed, 9" rear. This fuel injected combo made 425hp/405tq this week on a MD 1750 "mustang" dyno. Pump gas, long tube headers, true duals with bullet mufflers also.

Just some info to share. I'd up the ante with AFR CNC 210's and a little more camshaft. 450+ easy.

I made a mild 383 and desktop dyno put me at 440hp and 470 ft lbs with 6 degrees of timing, small tube headers and mufflers.

Look at this site off thirdgen. They have at the bottom of the page a 383 with the HSR with 500+ flywheel hp.
