What lift cam for this setup?
I dunno the compression, so I will say it is stock compression? I had the car sitting in my garage over winter and just began to work on it. I dont think I wanna go higher then 6500 grand for rpm...probably 5600-6500. It would be mostly a street car (dont need top speed), and I would like to tear up the streets. Old stock flat tappet cam in it now I think a solid cam. Stock ignition w/points dist.
Upgrading distributor to hei, will eventually get a msd setup after car is painted.
Are those heads to big? Or is there never such a thing as too much flow if you have the carb and cam to back it up? I know the major thing about horsepower is the air going into and coming out of our engine so I would think they are good.

Listen to Nightrida.
You'll have NO "low end grunt" with only 350ci and 215 heads. You'll need a minimum 383 or preferable 415 or ideal 427 with those heads. That's what "they" make 200+cc heads for. Use 1.94 intakes, no bigger.
Bottom line; get smaller heads, (like the AFR's Nightrida describes) 600 cfm carb, 112deg cam and your trans and gears will work fine OR make your block (much) bigger and keep your stuff.
