Snapped a few pics today...

Decided to get some pictures for you guys. As some of you know, the car is a 383 with t56 trans. Used to be a weak 3.4/auto when i bought it last winter. Car is a hardtop, stripper. No options except for fog lights. I was going to get some better pics of the motor but the camera died. But its a 383, 11:1 compression, trick flow heads, mighty demon carb, mallory unilite distributor, etc etc. Car has tubular k member, '02 camaro front brakes, 99 TA rear with 3.73's. Im still working some of the bugs out and wideband tuning the carb, but its been a blast to drive so far. If you have any questions just let me know.

Clean setup there man. Any difference in fuel mileage

? Who did the install, just curious. Once again, clean as a whistle.

Yeah, fuel mileage is probably a little different. When i got the car it was for this purpose and had a blown head gasket. So i never really drove it except for on and off the trailer. All the work was done by myself and my father.

love the way it looks with the stock hood and a carb.

did u have to cut a lot out of the metal or plastic from the cowl?
to make it fit?

Nice looking setup.

How'd you get your carb and windshield wiper to clear. I'm having space conflicts with my carb and winshield wiper. Of course I've got a 454 but yours looks like the whole carb is in front of the windshield wiper whereas mine interferes.

Yes i removed a little from the bottom of the hood bracing. As far as wipers i just trimmed around where the arm mounts up. Its a very close fit but clears. K member is a bmr.
