Pontiac Heads?
Any one here have Pontiac 867 heads that drive them on the street? I have heard that since the valves are so big that it isn't good to drive them on the street. Something about the valve are to close together and they click agianst each other. All I'm going to do is drive to and from the track and maybe some cruise nights.

I have those heads on my 355 ci .Make sure you check piston to valve clearance 99% chance there going to hit you ll need to get pistons fly cut. This is because the valve spacing is 60/40 which means the intake valve is moved away from cyl wall for more flow.the other option is to buy pistons je ,srp ,ross to fit brodix 10x heads. its hard to find info. on those heads i had to use bbc pushrods to get the right lengthand 7/16 studs that were longer, some of those heads take offset rockers. When i was looking for info i went to speedtalk.com for help
