Default crane billet weightless/springless distributor?

every since i read an arcticle on this thing, Ive wanted to try one out. The only thing stopping me was the price tag. Im putting some new vortec heads on my old 355 and was thinking hard about this thing, anyone know how well it performs? here is a link

I tried one and it had rotor phasing issues. It has an alternate pickup location and I tried that as well. I really wanted it because of the adjustable advance but couldn't get it to cooperate. This may have just been me or the fact I got one before they were listed as available from Crane. It certainly has the ability to be an excellent part if the bugs have been worked out.
