smallblock 400 pontiac
i have looked everywhere and cant seem to get in touch with the right people.
what displacements and hp numbers and all that good stuff

350, 400, 426 and 455's are all the same block size and considered big blocks.....
$1000 is going to be tough but do-able if you don't need pistons or rods.
I came out at about 1200 bux. It did take a lot of lookin around though i had to take it to a machine shop 30 miles away

He beat on that thing for 4 years on a nightly basis and it always ran like a top. He even used it for a DD for a couple of years.
It was a mild build and ran high 13's, which was strong in the early 1990's...
