Do you guys have any ball park estimates of what ported 049s will flow? I know there are various degrees of how much they can be ported. I'm not sure what my builder has planned yet but how big do most people go on the valves?

And just for fun what do yall think a 496 oval port with performer rpm and long tubes will make in HP and TQ with the combo stated up top?

quarter mile in 3400 pound with M/T street radials?

i'm just guessing they will flow around 300@ .600 lift. i saw a flow test done on a set of 781 heads which are the same head and they flowed 318 @ .600 lift so that really isn't bad for stock ported heads. i have 2.19 and 1.88 valves in my 049s and also i used a Mr. Gasket brand #107 intake gasket which is the largest oval port gasket made to port the intake ports too. get ready to have fun cause i spent around 30hrs porting on mine. i think your car would run high 10s or very low 11s depending on gearing and converter.
