Default SDPC ZZ383 TPI setup, how much power on pump gas?

Ok guys,
Next year (unless I cant wait and whip out the plastic), I plan on dropping something exciting into my 89 GTA. I am thinking about getting scoggin-dickey to do me a custom version of their zz383 TPI engine. The setup they have in their catalogue is with GM Fastburn heads, mild cam and accel superram, optimised for 92 octane.

http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/1578...rip-Engine.htm

Now this setup is only rated at 405hp, but I am looking at going with a more agressive cam and compression, and most importantly a set of the AFR street elimiator heads (195 or 2xx cc?). I want to keep it street legal, which means efi and emissions, but do not care about street manners. I think the accel super ram is still the way to go, but will it nerf the performance that much?

SDPC replied to my inquiry that such a setup is possible, but they didnt include any detail or price etc. Fine, I know they get a 100 of those emails a day. But what do you guys think I can realistically get out of this setup? Even if I have to go electric water pump, vacc assist, etc?
How much cam? How much lift?

All informed opinions/suggestions welcome, thanks!

A custom roller grind matched to the flow of the AFR 195's will wake that up very well! Assuming the intake does not become a restriction. A 383 with good cam and AFR's is more of a 500+FWHP motor.

A 383 would be best with the 210cc heads and a better intake than the Superram. Like Ryan 02SS said, a well built 383 should be in the 500fwhp range. AFR 210s, a better intake, a cam in the 230/236 .600/.600 112-114 category, and ~10.5:1 should get you close to 500hp.

Now that's what I'm talking about, dayum! That is one hell of a cam, you have to wear a mouthpiece when you drive that?

Any specific info you want to pass on about your engine build appreciated. Gonna have to look up the specs on that intake. Thanks for the reply!

yeah its a big cam, but its mainly a track car, and im putting solid motor mounts in it soon too!! the victor jr intake that im running is the 1" taller version more of a mid-high range intake (3500-8000 rpm band) keep in mind this is a carb intake, you could essentially do the same thing with efi, just get the injector bungs welded in, get the fuel rails and a 90* elbow and TB to fit. as far as specs go its nothing too special, Edge Brothers (local machine shop) blue printed short block: eagle 4340 3.75" stroker crank, eagle 4340 5.7" h-beam rods, SRP .040" forged flat tops, afr 210 race heads, 5 angle valve job, bullet solid roller cam, Pete Jackson "noisy" gear drive, vrictor jr intake, fully prepped Holley 950 HP carb, 200 shot direct port, 100 shot plate, msd crank trigger and dist. msd digital 7+ th-400 with yank
4400stall nitrous converter....am i forgetting anything else?
