A question. ok there is this truck that leaked most of the motor oil, well it thought it was leaking by the oil filter but it turns out to be leaking on the piece that the oil filter screws on it seems to have like a hole.My questions is how is that piece removable and can be replace with another?
By the way its on a 1990 silverado its a 350.

My stuff is from the '70's, but the threaded adaptor had 2 small bolts to the block.
You can still buy them. The filter's outer gasket covers this part, so the oil leaked from somewhere else I'm pretty sure. Unless I'm not picturing this correctly.
