Setting timing
Setting timing It's been awhile since i've messed with dist. and timing them. If my memory sevrs me right I bring #1 cylinder tdc after exhaust valve closes and set drop in dist. facing #1 on the cap, right? It been at least 10 years since i've messed with this stuff. Thanks ken

If u have a marked balancer, we always line it up with timing desired, then drop in dist.
We also have crank triggers and locked dist, so don't forget to subtract dist timing from total.
A mild motor has more leway, than a monster, when trying to fire with the timing off a little. Good luck.
