Default 93 Camaro Manual Trans drop, help

Hi, can someone tell me why all visable bolt and other items are completely detached from the transmission, but it will only slide off to about an inch and then feels like its hitting something solid, what am I missing?

Pull the clutch fork out and it should be fine. Also make sure that you have all the bolts out. There are 2 up top that you have to use a long extension to get to.

Yep, The clutch fork held me up forever. Unbolt the 2 bolts holding the slave cyl. on (circled in picture) slide it back and then remove the clutch fork. All the writeups I found were for 98-02 cars, our 93-97 car are a little different. I about pulled my hair out trying to figure it out.
