What head gaskets are you going to use? Do you know how far down the piston's are down the bore from were the heads bolt down to the deck surface? I am going to say more than likely it will be about 9.2:1.

i am using the edelbrock head gaskets that were reccomended. Why so low? I've heard 9.5 10.1 and 10.5.... my cam is a edelbrock roller 234 238 .534 .549 on a 112...is that too much cam for that compression ratio

It will run ok, but not optimum. The reason that I say the compression will come out close to 9.2:1 is b/c the piston's sit down inside of the bore of the motor if it has never been "decked". The other reason is b/c your useing a 0.070" dish piston, not a 4 valve flat top.
