Default BBC Head Studs

I'm getting ready to install some Canfield heads onto my Vortec 454 and while looking for some ARP head studs I ran into a problem. There are two sets of studs for the Canfield heads. One is "undercut" and one is not. I'm not sure on which ones to get......

Undercut

Non-Undercut

Thanks

They are bolth the same in terms of length. They only undercut the shorter studs, but this is supposed to equalize the stretch of bolth stud types. This makes for a better clamping force onto the cylinder cylinder head and helps prevent blown head gaskets.

I used the 4302 studs with my Canfields.....you might call ARP and ask why the difference. I did when I bought my studs and forgot what they told me but for some reason I got the regular studs and not the undercut ones. Either way I don't think it'll matter much though.
