I'm thinking about 475 w/ this set up w/ no spray.
Don't over build the motor. For what you're wanting you can run lighter parts like I beams instead of H-beams and it will be cheaper and make more power. Also depending on how much N2O you want to run, you can use hyper pistons instead of forged.....lighter and cheaper. You can use the money you save on the short block to put money into the heads/valvetrain cause that's where you make a lot of power.

Definitely. And DO NOT use a DOMINATOR!....OVERKILL. Get a 950HP series carb...It will be all the carb that motor will ever need and be WAY MORE STREETABLE, and get WAY BETTER mileage. The heads are a good choice the crank and pistons are good choices, but definitely need to go with I-beams over the H-beams.

That is a contradicting statement, b/c a 750 Dominator will get better gas mileage than a 950cfm HP 4150 series. Dominators utilize a annular discharge booster which has multiple little fuel outlets for better atomization. Where a 4150 950 HP carb is going to have downleg boosters with one single fuel outlet. Besides that, he is not going to need a 950 cfm carb with the motor at hand. A 750 cfm carb will work about the best for his combo of parts.

This a general guideline on how to size a carb for your motor.

.

2 thoughts, I have never seen anyone run a 750 4500 & like it. I was told by several guys it is the worse holly ever made. Circuits just do not work well on something they choked down so small.

I also do not think a 950 hp is going to work well with a engine so mild. Good luck.

I am also wondering if this carb that the origional poster has is really a 4500 series Dominator or if it is just a 750 DP 4150 series. I agree a good 4150 series 750 cfm carb would work the best in this situation.

Its not the 4150... I was thinking of going w/ the 4500... I like the style and it does get a bit better gas mileage. Been there, done that. I had one on a 355 and it did GREAT!! I never had any problems w/ the tuning falling flat or hell, anything for that matter.
