Need help on a conversion
Need help on a conversion I have a 95 Camaro z28 that I recently pulled the LT1 out in order to put in a LS1 out of a TA. I sold the LT1 to a buddy of mine that recently bought a 69 chevy stepside and wanted to add a little more under the hood.
Question is, how hard would it be for him to keep the LT1 fuel injected? He has the wiring harness and CPU out of my Camaro. What exactly needs to be done to complete this project to keep it fuel injected, or would it be easier to just make it carbed? I know He's gonna lose a few horses going carbed but we're looking for the easiest route. Any advice would be great! Thanks !!

He wouldn't lose any power going to a carb, probably make a little more actually.
But, if you want to go fuel injected, give Painless wiring a call. I'm pretty sure they make a wiring kit for swapping LT1's into other vehicles that gets rid of all the extra BS.
Just found it in my catalog. Part number 60502 or 60505 for the extra long harness.
