Very clean install, like the sheetmetal work. Are you planning on racing this is or is it a street car

A few more pictures. Finished the brake lines and installed a Madman torque arm. It sucked because I already had the carpert installed & have you to notch the trans. tunnel when installing the crossmember. At this point I'm waiting on the hood and in the process of wiring the car. All the engine & transmission wiring is done and pulled in to car. Still have to wire the fuel pump relays which will be in the back, install the dash, & wire up gauges, fuse blocks, & switches.

Nice stuff, can you take a side profile of the motor and if possible tell me how far the carb is from the window. I am doing a BBC also in my Camaro.

If you look closely, I notched the cowl. I'm using a lexan windshield which will have to be installed with a notch as well. 2 reasons, the rear float bowl touched and it was about 1/4" from the windshield. Any movement of the engine would probably crack the factory glass. There is about 1/2" of front to back adjustment in the transmission mount. If you take this in to account when you weld in the motor plate mounts, you can move the engine forward more. I did not...and, the motor plate mounts are welded in. The second reason, unless you use a front mounted distributor, It appeared to me at the time that you can't install it without removing the engine (At least the distributor I’m using). I didn't test this theory. I just wanted easy access to the distributor for installing & priming the oil pump purposes.
