Default Question about my 350...

Unfortunatly I didn't have the time nor the place to build the whole motor myself. So I had it built. I hate that I had to do that. Anyways, its a 350 bored .040 over, Comp Magnum series Cam 224/224 with .470/.470 for lift, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, approx. 9.5:1 compression, regular steel pistons, and a standard set of 76cc heads. What would you think the HP and TRQ are at? Its in a 72 Monte too. Which by the way is getting painted Jet Black right now. Just wanted to see what you guys say. Oh and I blew a lot of money having it built lol. OH well.

Standard heads with some machine work, thats how I'm up to about 9.5:1 because I think the pistons are rated 10:1. So I think It would have been like 9:1 or so. T350 for the tranny. The heads are a 76cc

To tell you the truth, I really dont know, they just came off the 350 I pulled out of the car, which I'm not sure if it was the original or not. I know there isn't anything special about em. I want to add some edelbrock aluminum 64cc heads, or maybe just some iron darts 64cc, put some forged pistons in there, get up to about 10:1 11:1 compression. Throw a bigger cam in there, and so on and so forth, but not for a few years, I just had this one done last year lol.

No such thing as steel pistons, and you'd have to have the milled to like 68cc chambers for a 9.5:1 cr. prolly 290hp 320 tq.

Okay, sorry I meant to just say pistons, anyways, my dads got the same motor in his Monte, hes push more than 290 lol. Hes just got a 10:1 compression ratio and thats about the only difference, other than forged pistons in his. Which I plan to do to mine. They did mill the heads, but I dont think it was that much. I really want to change the heads out. Thats whats killin my compression right there.
