could i have hurt my motor?
well last weekend i broke my engine and cam in my garage and it started right up and i did a cycle of running 10 minutes at 2,000ish rpms for 3 intervals.....
the thing is i noticed the headers were glowing and i read that sometimes not having enough timing and ect can be the reason...... i had timing set accordingly for break in but noticed that cause i didnt have the bolt tightened down all the way it moved some taking even more timing away..... i saw the problem and got it tight, but i also had just gotten the headers ceramic coated too so i dont know if they do that when they get hot for the first time.....
but i made sure it didnt get too hot as far as water temp plus i didnt redline it or anything and kept low rpms for a short peroid of time..... im sure everything is fine cause its running properly but is it possible that could have damaged anything?
