Solid roller is not like it used to be, as long as you have good locks and even a stud gurdle you would not have issues, just makes the initial idle a bit tougher.

ok so I made up my mind and will be going with the 350 but will be going with a roller setup. this is the old setup I was planning to run and here is the new. any suggestions with the new setup I am still looking to make around 400 crank hp on the motor anything more will be gravy and with another 150-200 progressive shot on track days

NEW
this is the setup I was planning to run on the roller 350: 750holley, edelbrock rpm air gap or victor intake, brodix IK 200 heads 64cc, 282hr or 288 xtreme energy cam, comp cam 1.52 roller tip rockers, forge flat top pistons, stock crank and I beam rods with arp head and rod bolts, around 10.1-10.6/1 CR and a 150 to 200shot of nitrous

OLD
this is the setup I was planning to run on the 350: 750holley, edelbrock rpm air gap or victor jr intake, brodix IK 200 heads 64cc, comp cam 274 xtreme energy comp cam, comp cam roller tip 1.52 rockers, forge flat top pistons, stock crank and rods with arp head and rod bolts, 9.4-9.8-1 CR depending on the headgaskets I go with and a 150 to 200shot of nitrous
