I posted this in the Lt1 section but no one seems to know. Maybe one of yous has a little more knowledge on this subject. Well one of my fathers long time friends has a 96' ce corvette with about 30kmi. He's chucking the LT4 and having an entire new race motor built. So he offered me the motor for an ABSOLUTE steal! And my question is... Is it worth it? And will it be a fairly easy/cheap swap? I plan on having the heads ported and adding a new cam. If any you guys have an idea of how much it would cost and what extras I would need please chime in. Im trying to keep it simple and i might not even mess with the heads+cam. Any words appreciated.
