if tuned and set up properly a carb motor can get just as good gas mileage as an 80s early 90s fuel injected motor...... i have seen it with my own 2 eyes so dont tell me it cant be done..... the only benefit of a EFI car is you can just start them up and go anytime any temperature outside and normally run a little smoother...... but like i say if you really know what you are doing witha carb you can get it to run pretty close to an EFI car as far as being smooth

True, i have managed to have a carb with NO choke fire up in winter and idle fine, drive away without even warming up. Does have a ever so slight bit of hesitation at first but hell...lets see somone else do it with a HUGE cam and a 2.73 rear gear set, not gonna happen

When it comes to cars, I'm all about function and to hell with style.

Except when we're talking about TPI. Gets those aluminum pipes polished up till they sparkle. It's the horniest looking intake setup of all time.

Who cares if it won't deliver over 4500 RPM?

Well, if you have $, then the TPI is OK when you ditch runners and go with the LT1 style intake. But with my carb and screw drivers, i have several folks looking at my tail lights, LOL.

EFI is OK for my truck, but TBI is still the shittiest.
