Default diffrents between 350 and LS1
will the 5.3 and 6.0 newer truck engine bolt up to the older 4l60e trans that come on the 1998 trucks.

Depending on the year of the 5.3 and 6.0 it may already have the adapter. It's a ring bolted on the flexplate to crank bolts.
If it has that double check the converter to flexplate bolt pattern. It should bolt right up.
