Default 3/4 race cam

http://www.compcams.com/Cam_Specs/Browse.aspx All you have to do is have knowledge then you won't look a fool. It's a term still used by the cam makers and racers. It's a Race cam with a street-able use. Look around and you find them for lot's of vehicles not just Old Bad *** Dodge's!

Well, consider yourself a fool, rookie. You just replied to a 5+ year old thread and the explanation (which I didn't need) was one page back.

^^^---- you are correct. My dad is a 60s dragracer. And that is pretty much in diffrent words how him and his friends explain it just a term for a very aggressive yet sorta streetable cam. No real specs kinda a slang term. Everyone had there own opinion on it.

Default Thanks for the laugh

This thread made me laugh, in 1978 I ran a couple Speed shops, and people used to come in on a weekly basis asking for a 3/4 race cam, I had to explain to them it did not exist, then sit with them to find out what their build was to help them find the right cam

I knew it had to be a cam from back in the day because every time I mention cams, my father always talks about a '3/4' cam he used to have in his '68 Firebird lol.
