Currently running a set of Brodix Track 1's with a good amount of work done to them. 11.7:1 comp, Edel 2925 intake, Bullet cam on a 112LSA with 247 and 256 dur @.050" and .610 lifts. Accel DFI system, Batch fire(OLD SCHOOL) 1 3/4 Headers, 700R4 trans with 3k (VERY TIGHT) converter, and 3.5 ratio out back on 28" tires. Car runs A best of 11.35 @120 with a 1.52 60 I shift at 58-6K. I have spun it to 6500 but it didnt go any faster. It went 11.39 @120. So would these heads help me get 10.80's? I ran the numbers on some dyno's and on some proven perf calculators, and it said it would. Very intresting........ How are these heads holding up so far?? Any valve problems? Valve seats ok? Guides? Deck? How are the springs?
I believe these heads would help you out greatly. The head are holding up great. No valve problems, we use Ferrea 6000 series valve which are awesome valves. We use interlocking Ductile iron seats and of course bronze alloy guides. The deck is 9/16" think and depending on what spring you need we can get you set up. We have had no issues with this head at all.

Although I would add in that picking up .5 may be asking for a lot-it really depends on what work is done to his heads and that making a "guarantee" is not possible.

Are you talking about a street/strip 355 or would that be more of a strip only setup? I always thought that a 215cc head would be too big for most street/strip SBCs under 383". Do you think with the right cam and intake choices a 215cc head would work well on a 355" streetable engine with efi?
