Default Help with a 400 sbc

hey guys i just had a couple of ?'s I'm currently doing a 400sbc swap into a friends 95 trans am with a powerglide 2 speed. i am very familiar with these engines but I'm not to familiar with how they work in a car like this my ?'s would be what will i have to do to get the motor to run in this car, can i use the existing fuel line and just delete the return and also how do i run the wiring to get the car to be able to run with a key or would it be easier just to use a switch panel with a pushbutton start and if so what will i need to get everything to work with the car and motor. a little more about the motor and tranny the motor is a stock bottom end and a beefed up cam and stock heads we will be rebuilding the motor but we just want to set it up get it running so that we don't have to worry about anything else it has a holly 850cfm double pump carb on it and an edlebrock intake. the tranny is a new powerglide 2 speed with a 3500 stall we might go bigger as this car will be strip only but i would appreciate all help

thanks

Well, you can use the outlet for fuel if you drop the tank and install a external carb low pressure pump and ditch the return line OR you can use the output line and a low pressure regulator with return/bypass outlet and run it into the return line and keep the factory pump but you will need to wire the pump to come on constant hot when the key is over.

I find the output in the fuse block that is constant hot when the key is on and wire it in there.
