Default Need Recommendation for Tuning - Charlotte NC area

Hi Gang,

I've been away for a long time. I've done some searching, PMing, a lot of reading and I'm having a problem with picking out a tuner for my project. I'm having a 382 built to swap into my 3rd Gen Camaro. The engine will be finished before Christmas.

I need some recommendations on who is good for a base tune to get the car running and a follow up tune to dial it all in after swap is finished.

The 382 build is on the milder side as it's going into a daily driver car. Driveability and excellent manners are very imporant.

I'm in the Charlotte area.

Please feel free to PM me. I know some of the tuning stuff gets sensitive.

Thank you.

We are located in Mooresville and Alvin Anderson of PCMForLess does all of our tuning here in house on his 224xLC DynoJet. He's as precise and diligent about his tuning as we are about our labor, so you know the final product is incredible. Give him a buzz at (704)307-4227.

His username is "Alvin" here on this board if you'd rather just shoot him a PM.

I recommend sending WS6FirebirdTA00 a PM. He's in Concord.

I went the dyno tune route and then had Mike help me tune the car on the street... NIGHT and day difference.... no more dyno tuning for me.... ever.

They are both very good turners! You can't go wrong with either.

Got to second that. Nick and his crew are second to none. They are in Mooresville, not to far out of Charlotte.
