New Orleans Section
I didn't evacuate for Katrina, I was stationed in Atlanta at the time. I came in here and rescued people after Katrina (active duty Marine). Now, of course, I am stationed down here. So, I guess I'm qualified to post here. Besides that, this is actually the Southern Section, not the New Orleans Section. This is just a thread.

I wouldn't have to keep posting up about them, if people on this board would quit acting like they are sooooo fast. Even with my T/A being a deep 10 sec car, I still didn't talk smack like I was better than any body else. I'm just saying that there is always someone faster. If someone thinks they're fast, they need to quick ******* people and act like they are the almighty. Step up to the next level and put forth the effort for a better quality race.
I'm glad he still shows up out there. I heard he raced Tammy's Kenne Bell Cobra and beat it baaaad. The cars not quite as quick as it used to be.
Hopefully he spends some money to get the car back up to speed before he jumps into some big money races. The stall is getting too loose,and the tires are worn out. If he would take the stall out and send it in to Vigilante and have them rebuild it (for a whopping $200), and get some new tires, he should be able to represent himself quite well out there. It's still a 10 second car, but not at the level it used to be. (I'm sure that's why he's not racing too much out there).
I do miss that car. But, I have a new project I'm working on now.

Im not talking about everyone you are refering to in your post but maybe some peole are just out of others leagues. For instance, why doesnt Jeg Coughlin (2008 NHRA Pro Stock Champ) race John Force (14 time NHRA Funny Car Champ)? I mean Coughlin has won the Pro Stock series the last 2 years, he's fast. Oh wait, Coughlin only runs mid-high 6s, Force runs in the 4s. But Coughlin clims to be the fastest but he obviously not, I wonder why he dos that, I mean all the Funny Car guys are faster and then cant foget bout the Top Fuel guys. You get where i'm going with this. You can still claim to be the fastest even when they do have others out there who maybe faster but are out of your league.
I aint tring to be a dick, just saying my .02
How about this, when you get your low 9 maybe high 8 second car you go race them.

That is why those guy's race there own CLASS!
I am sure Coughlin would race Force, only if Coughlin got 2 lenght's and the move? LOL!
But what you said is exactly my point. A 10sec car aint in the same league as a 8sec car. Sure, anything can happen on the street but if everything goes near good, the 8second car is gonna win so why keep tring to start stuff between the two?
People know who is in there class and who aint. Thats why you can claim to be the fastest. I dont think Ive read anywhere where people have said they are the fastest in N.O.. Sure they all out anyone and IDK what would happen if someone showed up wit a 8 second car so I cant really say anything on that matter. I think depending on who it was, they would still prolly race.
