Did they tell you they were back ordered? If not, thats not good business. Also, the customer shouldnt have to call for updates no matter what unless its the customer giving the shop an update.

Kind of funny. I thought they were going out of business. Keep good tabs on your parts and check with the actual vendor to see if the really have a back order, or if someone is just buying time with your cash.

Going out of business? Never happen, If it did, it would only be because EVERYONE is out of work and there are no customers. Some guys are not only damn good at what they do, but they feel good about what they do, u know, that warm fuzzy feeling that u just put together a bad ***** and it runs like a top.

I know there are vendors that buy time w/ your cash, and some even just steal it (ever heard of "360 Forged" wheels?) I just don't see them being one of those types.......and many times one vendor is at the mercy of another vendor who is waiting on yet another This happens more than I care to discuss. I have spec'd out and built engines that take a year to get together because of vendors.

Like I said, good luck, but if you curious about your parts, might want to make a call to the actual vendor, if they are taking a little longer than normal.
