... met some guys from Pittsburg, PA this year on the power tour that insisted that I drink their beer and not mine...needless to say I accomodated them with that program ...

These were the guys that forced me to drink their beer...they just finished building this 56 and the power tour was its shakedown run.

I figured since we had already hijacked the phuch out of this thread that you all might as well see their car... it was very nicely done and you do not see a lot of the 4 door hardtops anymore...great guys .. it is nice to make new car guy friends from around the good ol USA.

I'd be willing to drive 12 hours for a good meet. Ive driven to Orlando and Miami for Hot Import Nights.

If a car can drive an hour with no issues, it should be able to go 12. Every "toy" I've ever owned did AT LEAST a 5 hour trip at some time in its' life. My GN and Cobra have both made 4 hour trips multiple times. Longest my TA ever went was about 7.

A group of friends and I did a simple trip to the gulf coast, we did a top end "roll race" and his car failed him (blew a gasket). When we ran, we did about 45 min, then that idiot decided to race me. I guess we're the more fortunate ones with more dependable rides.
