anyone from Columbia, S.C.? in the past three days i have seen more 4th gen. f-bodies (silver t/a, red t/a, red SS, white WS6, white SS, black WS6, SOM SS, and black Z28) in Columbia than in the entire year and some change that ive owned my car. i usually see MAYBE one other 4th gen. a month around here. did i miss some f-body convention or did yall just come out of hiding??? one of the cars had a ls1tech sticker on it, so i figured some of yall may be on here.
ALL of my friends i go to meets with around here are N/A import guys, and i always hang out with their import buddies. so i figured id see if theres anyone else in columbia thats on here that may wanna get a ride together or something. probably wont get any replies, but out of desperation of not wanting to be the only V8 in my group anymore, i thought it was worth a shot.
ftr, about 5 of the f-bodies ive seen were at midlands tech beltline campus. the rest were in NE columbia (in the sandhills area).

and spartanburg. I used to know a few guys from columbia back when I went to college there. They used to patrol some road on weekend nights. Harrbison? or something like that.

yea i keep seeing people on here that says theyre from greenville/spartanburg. i got a friend from here whose at limestone with a 300zx and he loves the whole spartanburg scene. and harbison is 95% civics and 99% gay. but spartanburg is a 2 hour drive away. columbias car scene sucks and is going downhill.

The cats I knew down there all had a domestic of some type, I believe. Never managed to ride out with them, but they had complaints about the cars around there as well.
What color is the 300? I've always loved those cars, I'll be sure to keep an eye out. Always looking for more car guys to b.s. with.

i havent been to harbison in a while. got bored with it. the 300 is a darker blue with a small red/white nismo stripe down each side. he loves to bs.

trust me man, if i could i would. columbias car scene blows for f-body guys. i was actually enrolled in greenville tech's automotive program last year but i got up there and decided i didnt wanna do it and came back. shoulda just switched my major and stayed up there. id be there now.

Same thing i did. Up until about a week before registering for classes, i was set on taking automotive courses. After research, i found out that's a one way express flight to not alot of money but plenty of aggrivation. So i switched it up to Radiologic Technology and it feels pretty good, definitley feels like something i could do for the rest of my life and that will keep my pockets....well i should say cars nice and healthy haha

yea i went with business. well since i guess no one on here is from columbia ill just have to come up there. ill probably be up there sometime within the next two months. a few of my nissan friends and i are gonna meet up with my friend at limestone and head to the spartanburg mall hangout area or whatever.

Many people in Columbia cannot drive so maybe it's best they don't have f-bodies. Whenever i drive through it makes me nervous as hell because people randomly slam on their brakes and swerve inbetween traffic like nascar racers in their damn explorer.

haha i used to drive an explorer like it was fast. im on the northeast side of columbia though. give me a holler if you ever come through again. we'll go on one of those "man-dates" they're talkin about in the lounge hahaha

I'm in Lexington, and you're right the car scene sucks around here these days unless you own a honda. I have noticed a few more f-bodies over the past few days too. Maybe just a freak thing, or may it be more people are getting them around here now who knows. Hopefully the car scene picks up some though.

yea, or a nissan, theyre startin to spread like wildfire. ive seen like 6 more f-bodies since i first posted. i figured some of the guys id seen would be on here, guess not. i havent had a chance to talk to any of them. i've pretty much separated myself from the car scene now. all i ever saw and heard about was SR20 this, B series that.
on a more interesting note, i got called out by this pos civic for not being a part of the car scene (after he argued with me that his car had more than 140 hp), and he ended up getting too personal, so i ended the conversation with threatening to knock him out. he shut up and gtfo real quick. thats columbia's car scene for ya.

hey fellas...lol kinda wish i was still hangin around there. i had an F-body for 3 years before the accident. I come home though twice a year and ill be back that way again in december...COLD!!!
