Charleston area
There is lots to do depending on what you like. There are plenty of bars/clubs downtown, and also lots of history too. There are semi pro soccer, baseball, & hockey teams. There are professional golf and tennis tournaments, along with many nice golf courses.
The car scene is different here. There are car shows, but most are small. Grudge racing is real big here. There are a few 1/8th mile tracks that are an hour or so away and 2 1/4th mile tracks that are 2-3 hours away.
Traffic sucks, and with the humidity in the summer, it's hot as *****. You also don't have to deal with the emissions bs here like you do in Cali.

I did some riding around this weekend and seen one Mudstane H.O. (gimme a break) with 20" wire wheels and pretty ponies and the side of it. Since I am new to the area I wasnt sure if you were aloud to laugh at these clowns or not.
Love the area though, absolutely gorgeous.

Its a 2003 GMC, Long Bed, lowered, Black & Pearl Orange, Centerline wheels and other mods. Kinda hard not to spot!
Hope to see you guys there!

Oh well, there's always next year!
I did however make it over to the Sofa Superstore on Rivers. Looked like a Chinese buffet with all of the rice over there. I slowly meandered through the food court and did notice a small heard of goats grazing and several low rider trucks. Nothing much to speak of in the way of muscle cars.
One guy had his rice on a plate. It was a Hybusa with pretty paint and lots of chrome he had straped on a trailer. Whats with the extended swing arm on almost every bike I see? Looks kinda funny, obviuosly these are drag bikes and are used for flying down the 1/4 mile, right? Or is it a small ***** thing?
Any way, we will try it again next weekend! Have a great week Justin!
