Learn how to drive!
You might also try a safer car since the LS1 is too much for you. I'm thinking a non-SS Aveo perhaps?

That sucks man. Hope you get it fixed for cheap as possible. The only advice i can give you is to go ahead and get hardened pushrods bc your gonna have to get new ones anyways.

At least yours can probably be fixed although it may cost you some money. My '06 vette just got totaled after only having it for 3 months. It was flooded out from all the rain we got that Thurs/Fri before Halloween. Good luck with the repairs though.

The car was in what used to be Gravel Ridge (Now Sherwood) off of AR 107. Insurance totaled it out and gave me just under $35,000 for it which only left a remaining balance of $133. I have gap insurance, but it was just a hassle with all the documents and things they asked for so i just paid the $133 out of pocket to be done with it. They said i could buy it back for about $14,000 if i wanted to keep the car. That price is a little too steep for me to want to buy it back and also put a few more grand into it to repair it, but if you guys know anyone who would want to pay that, let me know. It's an 06 vette with about 16,000 miles on it. I personally don't think it's worth the trouble.

Yep, looks like you're in the same boat i'm in. So far everything is working out though. I just bought a new LS3 vette off of ebay! With it being end of year and all the rebates included, you can get one at a pretty good price. Hope everything works out for you. Looks like im going to have to park this thing somewhere else everytime it rains until i get a chance to move.
