yeah same thing here. some guys in jasper are fairly responsible for my own personal build. no matter what they do I will always go bigger because I can. and they despise that attitude. **** em.
street car refers to ease of use on the street. the likelihood that you will drive it, and would prefer to drive it, and others would prefer to ride in it.
mine does not have a/c
but will have radio
another seat for passengers
is able to drive around without sounding like a carb'd uncapped motor
should be able to take it anywhere. on dates. groceries...to the store. emergency room runs. should be driven to the bank, the chik fil a, and to the track, from the track for some coffee and smokes before bed. thats a street car
not hauled in a trailer.......or driven 5 miles from the house on the highways. no stripped down versions....at least 2 seats.
thats my version of it anyways.

There's a big difference between a street car and a race car that can be driven on the street.
I don't see no radio, no bumper supports, no door bracing, and taking a saw to every piece of metal underneath the car, a street car. Lots of guys taking full weight 4k pound cars and running mid 9 1/4 miles. It can be done, in a TRUE STREET CAR.

honestly, its pretty dead now... I have a little group of friends that will race but its nothing elaborate... we usually got to Moulton on Saturdays... none of us are "fast" and run in the 8s, lol... but because our cars are somewhat so close, it is a lot of fun still... plus there is usually 10-15 other street cars up there, so always someone new to race... its not street racing but it beats nothing...

Moulton
I almost went to moulton last weekend. Talked myself out of it since i couldnt get any of the guys around here to go with. If there will be some familiars around this weekend, i may make the trip. Is moulton a decent track? There are a couple closer that i used to go to 10+ years ago that have gotten really bad. Gambling, drugs, even one had 2 people killed in the past few years.

Moulton is great now and you don't have "that crowd" which is why I like it... i won't be there this weekend and more than likely not even the next due to work... but i'll post up when I know for sure the 10 or so cars from here are going
