RALEIGH AND DURHAM NC residents I got a job offer in the Durham/Raleigh area. I'm curious to what it's like in these areas.
Can you guys point out good places to live, with good schools and safe nice neighborhoods?

I have some buddies in Raleigh so I am down there fairly often and its a very nice city/area. I can't speak for the schools and things but the people are decent and the car scene is pretty good. Raleigh does not have a 1/4 mile track though, the closest is fayetteville which is about 70 miles away.
