GA Personalized Plates How long did it take to get yours? I've been waiting 3 months now. Going up to the tag office today to smack some old ladies around. 
I remember buying one for my 86 Trans Am when it was new and it took about 6 weeks. It can't be because of lack of prisoners to press the plates.

So I went down to the tag office at lunch. I went by there a month ago to check on this. The woman wouldn't check anything, just told me to keep waiting and I would get something in the mail when it was ready. Today I insisted that they look it up and find out what was happening. Turns out the state turned down my request saying that it was offensive. They had a letter in their system that was supposedly mailed to me on March 4, along with my refund. I never got either. What is offensive about XLER8ER?? 
So now I'm so pissed that I've waited all this time for nothing. I don't even want to try a different plate now. I just want to go postal.
