Exclamation 9/24/11- Frosty's 1st Annual Sarcoma Awareness Car Show at the Dragon

This car show is in honor of Michael "Frosty" Williamson. Michael was diagnosed with a rare and unknown cancer called spindle-cell retroperitoneal sarcoma at the age of 20. Sarcoma is a very aggressive cancer and it is not as known as other more common cancers. After nearly 2 years of battling with sarcoma, Michael passed away on January 25, 2011. Michael left behind a very loving and supportive family and great friends. Michael loved nothing more than driving up to the dragon with family and/or friends to enjoy its many beautiful sights and sounds. It was his get away from all the obstacles he faced. Michael was a very loving and compassionate person. He always worried more about others than himself. Even through his toughest days, Michael would help and care for others at any moment. Michael has left a lasting impression on all of those who were blessed to know him. His inspiration and values live on forever. Michael's twin brother and friends have all come together to keep Michael's fight ongoing and raising money and awareness for the sarcoma charity in order to help the many others who face this same battle everyday. We will never be able to give back what Michael has done for us, but we know he would be happy knowing that we are helping a lot of others battle this terrible cancer. More information about Michael and his battle with sarcoma can be found at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/michaelwilliamson . All proceeds will go to the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative.

More information about them can be found at http://sarcomahelp.org/index.html. If you are unable to attend, any donation is greatly appreciated and can be made at http://sarcomahelp.org/donations.htm . Please put Frosty in the honor or remembrance fields. If you can make it, please bring a $10 donation in the form of cash or check made payable to FJC/Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative with Frosty on the memo line. Event t-shirts in white or black will be available for sale as supplies last for $10 each. We will also have awards for best in show. Thanks for your support!
