Just saw where www.wannagofast.com opened up registration for the 2nd annual Georgia 1/2 Mile Shootout on September 14th-15th, 2013. 2-day event!

If you want to register you can do so now on their website. Lots of awesome cars and great people, plus an incredibly beautiful location! Event is only limited to 125 cars per day, and it's pre-registration only!

Saturday is now full...best jump on Sunday if you want to race. This is a great event. Just got back from their event in Carabelle, FL which is cool, but the upcoming GA one is the best venue. Its an awesome location, plenty of shut down area, a return road (Carabelle you have to come back the way you went down), and a nice down hill roll to the start line so you don't have to crank or push your car while waiting to run.
Get on it fast. You'll regret not doing this event at least once...but then you'll want to keep doing it!
