So I'm buying a commercial truck next week in humboldt TN and plan on driving it back to Los Angeles CA. The plates are expired since February of this year, anyone know if I have to pay the plates b4 I bring it to CA or since it will be registered over in CA I no longer need to deal with TN DMV? Anyone can help with any info here?

Any tips I should take before driving back home? I need to take a flight over there but the closest airport other then mckellar sipes regional is the one in Memphis but that's 100 miles away, anyone know of a less expensive way to get from memphist to. Humboldt ? Anyone want to make some money to drive me over there.? Lol
