"The track was purchased earlier this year by Earl Wells, owner of the GALOT Motorsports Pro Mod drag racing and GALOT tractor pulling teams.
The dragstrip will be rebuilt with a completely new racing surface, new guardrails, a state-of-the-art timing system and more. Drivers can expect other improvements such as a new drive-through water box replacing the old back-in box, and test-and-tune nights which will be held regularly.
Both drag races and tractor pulls will be held at the GALOT Motorsports Park, and improving the overall experience will be a key factor in upcoming decisions. The existing mud pit will be also be retained, and a focus will be placed on creating a family-friendly environment."
The new manager's name is Satch Gragg . . . He knows what he's doing !

"Longtime IHRA Division Director Satch Gragg has been named the general manager of the track. Having spent more than three decades working alongside racers and teams, Gragg will oversee operations of the track and head up future initiatives."
