newb here another Lafayette guy here...... I lurk at the "other site" with some other Lafayette guys. Its good to know that there are some LS1 peeps that I haven't met yet.

how many of yall over there? im trying to find out about who has a f-body in lafayette. me along with ncd1966 are thinking about trying to setup an f-body meet in late feburary/early march

I drive a modded 01 NMB SS, the wifey drives a 98 Z28 silver w/black stripes. A friend drives a 2000 modded Vette, another drives a modded 02 red SS anniversary and the same guy has another 02 Silver SS, another friend drives a modded 01 Red SS.
I am the slowest guy in the group with about 400 RWHP.....
We used to meet up alot and cruise the town pickin' on people. Have chilled a little on that street scene. We talked about starting a club a few months ago- and meeting up at the new Sonic on Johnston St.

once i get my headers and hp tuners, ill be done for a while as far as hp due to $$$, but i will be doing suspension and appearance. when i do get H/C, im going big, AFR 205 shaved .030 to get 11:1 with a nice cam, with 450 goal, however that is probably a year away. the problem is my tranny and rear WILL go out with that and this is my DD. im not doing this so i can beat everybody, but i do want to eat all the rice in town.

If you REALLY want all the power out of your car you need a custom dyno tune- hp tuners is nice BUT- It's no substitute for actually putting it on the dyno and tweaking it just right. After headers/bolt-ons/and a cam, I picked up 30 RWHP over a "base" tune.

I will be getting a real tune once everything is finished, but i still want HP Tuners to adjust things myself and delete codes. i also have 2 cars to tune, and the dyno tune for both would be way too much.
