Hey BKHAWK1 AND SMOKIN01TA,

Do both of you guys run spools? I was looking into the 12 bolt vs 9 inch, and it seems the posi's in the 12 bolts break.

to be honest with ya. i have no idea. i just ordered the damn 12 bolt from Candy and it showed up at my door step. I want to say it is the posi because when i turn the tires don't bark like the spool would. maybe i have them backwards. I had to add limited slip lube to it.

I like the 12bolt, but mine whines its butt off after i hooked the car a few times. My friend has a 9 inch and it lasted longer before it started whining. But it whines also. No matter what you get they are going to whine.

BBQ, if you get a rearend get the gears set up somewhere that knows how to do it. A friend of ours had his put in. One mile down the road and took it back. They sent the rearend to a guy. They told him most of the rearends from Stange or Moser are just thrown together. But anyway his rearend is quiet.

I might meet ya'll there. I need to go more often. The 21st is a Monday, and I will be in FL the weekend before, but if I am back in time, I should go if anyone else is.

Yeah, I figured, I'd check it if I didn't do it myself. I have some parts, I may buy a housing and build one. Don't know yet. It may take me a little while to really start hopping it up. I want to pay off my student loans this year. I should have saved money durring my summers working when I was in school.

I messed up and said the 21st, but i meant the 20th. I didn't have a calender to look at at the time.

I guess my rear has lasted this long because I can't get the car to 60' any better than 1:54's. I hope with the changes i maid it will come on down. adj lca's, lca relocation bracket's and a set of 28/10.5S out back.

Yeah, they have a helical posi for the 12 bolt now. Quiet, no clutches to wear and they are supposed to be pretty strong. I will probably go with that.

Kevin, as bad as I want to go back to Hub, I do not think I will be up for it on the 20th, that is the day after St. Paddies Day Parade.....And this weekend, they are having a big Bracket race.

Oh, and I put the headers and y-pipe on this past weekend.
